Melihat tren yang ada, notebook untuk game identik dengan ukuran layar besar. Berbagai macam notebook untuk game di pasaran hadir dengan ukuran layar 15˝ ke atas. Padahal sebenarnya notebook untuk game tidaklah harus berlayar besar. Dan inilah yang ditawarkan Dell Alienware M11x-R3 dengan layar 11,6˝-nya.
Notebook besutan Alienware ini memiliki desain yang tidak biasa. Dengan bentuknya yang unik, seluruh badan notebook dilapisi lapisan karet lembut sampai ke bagian bawah. Bagian dalamnya menggunakan material plastik keras sehingga terkesan kokoh. Di bagian bawah notebook terdapat plat metal yang dapat diukir nama pemilik maupun nama klan game: terasa eksklusif.
Pada bagian dalam, keyboard terlihat begitu padat. Kunci-kunci keyboard seperti berdesakan satu dengan yang lainnya. Kerennya, lampu backlit pada keyboard dapat dikustomisasi melalui software AlienFx, yang juga dapat mengatur tampilan lampu pada grill depan, logo Alienware, tombol power, dan panel indikator. Terdapat 20 warna dan 3 efek berbeda yang dapat dikustomisasi.
Dell Alienware M11x-R3 memiliki konektivitas cukup lengkap. Tersedia USB 3.0, HDMI, FireWire, dan juga DisplayPort. Sangat disayangkan, dengan badan yang tebal, seharusnya ia memiliki perangkat optik di sisi kanannya yang masih memiliki ruang kosong. Sejumlah game terkini masih memerlukan DVD fisik karena sistem copy protection. Oh ya, suara dari speaker-nya pun empuk.

Apple mengumumkan sejumlah kabar terbarunya tentang toko aplikasi online miliknya, App Store.
Kabar pertama adalah App Store mencapai 40 miliar pengunduh yang hampir separuhnya diperoleh pada 2012. Sedangkan kabar kedua, App Store kini telah memiliki lebih dari 500 juta akun aktif.
Apple juga melaporkan bahwa saat ini aplikasi yang ada pada App Store telah mencapai 775 ribu aplikasi, termasuk 300 ribu aplikasi khusus untuk iPad. Jumlah itu diperkirakan akan bertambah secara pesat pada 2013 ini.

Sementara, kabar terakhir yang tak kalah pentingnya adalah Apple baru saja mencatat rekor baru yang jumlah download dalam satu bulan mencapai dua juta pengunduh, dan hal ini terjadi pada Desember 2012.

Apple App Store kini tersedia di 155 negara di seluruh dunia. Terdapat 23 kategori yang tersedia di App Store, termasuk koran dan majalah, berita, games, bisnis, olah raga, travel dan lain sebagainya.
